The Preserving Ring is the key to the sealing process and thus preserving success.

The ring provides an even, airtight seal enabling a vacuum seal, so that your preserves may last for years. It is strongly advised that the rings are used only once and disposed of after opening processed bottles. Re-use of rubber rings will hinder or prevent the sealing process, with potential loss of contents as a result.
