This book has been put together by the Apiary Officers of the New South Wales Department of Primary Industry. It is the recommended book for beginner beekeepers. It covers all the main topics in a very accessible form. No dense text; rather bullets points and short paragraphs supported throughout by photographs. Topics covered include obtaining bees, assembling a hive, catch a swarm, seasonal management, re-queen and many more.
